This newly developed, compact table top shear apparatus is equipped with two electromechanical actuators. It provides an accurate alternative to basic pneumatic devices.
This test device allows for the fully automated execution of shear tests in accordance with DIN 18137 Teil 3, DIN EN ISO 12957-1, ASTM D3080.
Shear forces of 2 or 5 kN can be generated.
An extensive range of high quality stainless steel shear inserts (DIN or ASTM) enables this device to test specimens of various sizes.
The easy to use and efficient fully automatic test procedure, with highly defined shear test criteria, is operated through the appropriate computer software modules, available in various versions.
