We are a company with more than 30 years of experience in developing, producing and supplying measuring, testing and automation systems.

Under the name APS Antriebs- Prüf- und Steuertechnik GmbH, we implement the most modern and innovative testing systems, often with customer and application-specific special solutions, for geotechnical investigations and material testing. Our business units stand for this with the brand names "Wille Geotechnik" for geotechnical applications and "APS Adaptive Solutions" for the industry.

Our national and international projects are mainly in the fields of renewable energies, wind power, geothermal energy and heat storage or comparable applications, with a close connection to current research topics.

Field Sales Representative (m/f/d)

An essential part of the job involves advising customers, processing enquiries and tenders, and preparing quotations. Accordingly, you will be the main point of contact between customers and our internal departments.

Job objectives

  • You will support existing customers and acquire new customers through strategic marketing and sales activities
  • You will ensure the continuity of existing customer relationships and secure the expansion and strategic development of customers and markets
  • In doing so, you will always keep your sights set on achieving the planned order intake and margin targets in sales and enabling competitiveness
  • You will strengthen customer satisfaction in the long term through your technical and application-oriented expertise
  • You will contribute to the realisation of our corporate goals

Your main responsibilities

  • You will independently develop offers and accompany offer and contract negotiations until successful conclusion.
  • Throughout the project, you will keep an eye on customer and application requirements and, if necessary, adapt new requirements in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction without neglecting the company's economic goals.
  • You will present and represent our company at conferences and trade events.
  • You support the specialist departments in achieving the project goals through detailed preparation.
  • You make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of work processes in sales.
  • You support the technical departments in the preparation and implementation of customer and user training courses.

What you should bring with you

  • You already have experience in technical and application-oriented customer consulting.
  • You have solid technical know-how and understand the interrelationships along the value chain.
  • You combine your technical understanding with pragmatism, commercial competence and experience in contract management
  • Your education and experience enable you to communicate with a variety of national and international customers
  • Ideally, you have a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or geotechnical engineering or comparable practical experience and a good understanding of technical contexts
  • You have preferably gained experience in an internationally oriented company and have a good command of English

  • Your strengths lie in advising, acquiring and supporting new and existing customers.
  • Your strong social and communication skills make you a networker who enjoys making new contacts.
  • You are a person with organisational talent who thinks and acts entrepreneurially and exploits recognisable potential.
