Under the name APS Antriebs- Prüf- und Steuertechnik GmbH, we deliver state-of-the-art and innovative testing systems, often bespoke solutions tailored to specific customers and applications, for geotechnical investigations and materials testing. Our business divisions operate under the brand names ‘Wille Geotechnik’ for geotechnical applications and ‘APS Adaptive Solutions’ for industrial applications.

Our national and international projects are primarily in the fields of renewable energy, wind power, geothermal energy and thermal storage, or comparable applications, with a close link to current research topics.

Our national and international clients include renowned universities, colleges and private testing laboratories, as well as industrial companies.

To strengthen our service team, we are urgently seeking a

Service Technician (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for carrying out technical repairs (mechanical, electrical)
You will perform maintenance and service work as well as calibrations on equipment and test systems
You will plan your service assignments in consultation with the service management
You will independently prepare for and carry out the assigned service calls
Your service calls will involve short domestic trips or, occasionally, short international travel
You will act as the point of contact for our customers and technical departments regarding service projects
You will support our specialist departments with the technical acceptance of test systems both in-house and at the customer’s premises
You will produce written service reports detailing the work carried out
You will take on board suggestions from customers and pass these on to the relevant specialist departments

Your profile

You have completed an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician or industrial mechanic with practical experience in electronics
Ideally, you have already gained initial professional experience in technical service within an international customer environment and understand the importance of customer satisfaction
You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner
You are communicative and value working as part of a team
You can communicate in English and are proficient in using standard MS Office products
You are willing to undertake occasional domestic and international travel
